A travelling agency bus shattered, with traces of human blood, and a truck completely destroyed and out of service, can testify the impact of the accident that occurred here at Bekoko, a locality situated along the Douala – Nkongsamba high way, of the Douala 4 sub division.
The accident occurred this day March 3, 2022 at about 1am. Reports say, about 5 persons, notably the truck driver and 4 passengers perished in the accident while numbers of others were severely injured. The heavy duty truck was heading to Douala while the bus was heading to the west region. According to sources, the accident occurred as a result of a collision between the bus of General Voyage agency, and the heavy duty truck.
The accident was blamed on wreckless driving, and the competent authorities who rushed to the site, called on road drivers to drive responsibly. Meanwhile, the victims of the accident were taking to the hospital for Medical attention and it should be noted, this is not the first time the agency is involved in a road accident.
