Former Kenyan prime Minister and political figure, RAILA ODINGA has reiterated the need for Africans to be united to push for the continent’s rightful share at the global scene. This was during the funeral of Malawi’s fallen vice president, Saulos Chilima in Lilongwe, Malawi.
A Kenyan politician and former Prime Minister, Raila ODINGA has called on African leaders to be solid and stand as one to push for Africa’s rightful share of global resources. He was speaking in Lilongwe Malawi as he went to pay his last respects to Malawi’s deceased vice President Saulos Chilima during the funeral service at Bingu National Stadium.
Mr. ODINGA expressed Kenya’s solidarity with Malawians during their time of mourning and conveyed President RUTO’S message of Condolence.
Saying the continent had lost a young and promising leader « whose vision transcended his country borders », Odinga who intends to run for the african union commission Chairperson seat made a strong call for African leaders to fight for what is rightfully for Africa.
He used the opportunity to outline the vision of a borderless continent that speaks with one voice, trades with itself and get its rightful share of the continent’s bounty.
