Egyptian Minister Mahmoud Fawzy has reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, citing extensive initiatives under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s leadership that have elevated young leaders to prominent roles across the country. He was speaking during a university forum on Thursday.
Egypt’s Minister of Parliamentary, Legal Affairs, and Political Communication, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzy, emphasized the government’s dedication to youth empowerment under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Speaking at a university forum titled « Empowering Youth: A Dream Realized, » on Thursday, Fawzy highlighted the country’s strides in providing opportunities for young people through initiatives such as the National Academy for Training and Youth Rehabilitation. These efforts have enabled many young leaders to assume key positions across government, governorates, and parliamentary councils.
The dialogue, attended by students, professors, and deans, explored various aspects of youth empowerment and their growing role in society. Fawzy underscored the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing political awareness and communication with youth, noting the pivotal role they play in national decision-making processes.
He also praised the National Dialogue’s reliance on youth, from organizing committees to their active participation in sessions. This involvement has been instrumental in shaping recommendations and solutions to critical national issues.
Through these initiatives, Egypt continues to prioritize youth as a driving force for development and progress.
