The principal of YONA School complex in NKOLBISSON, MFOUNDI division of the Centre Region has been hospitalised after he was stabbed severally by one of his students.
The unbelievable act occurred this morning on campus when the principal had seized the sweater of the headstrong student on grounds that it wasn’t in conformity with what the school accepts. In a move to regain possession of his sweater, the student is reported to have followed the principal to his office where he demanded the cloth, a plea which the principal turned down, in a move to get back at the school head, he removed a knife and stabbed him on the shoulder and later on the stomach.
The recalcitrant student has arrested out of campus thanks to the intervention of commercial bike riders who were on standby, he was taken to the NKOLBISSON gendarmerie for interrogation, further findings revealed that a machete, chain and other dangerous weapons were found inside his bag. This is however not the first time a teacher is been stabbed in NKOLBISSON, in January 2020, a mathematics teacher of GBHS NKOLBISSON by name MAURICE NJINI TCHAKOUNTE was knifed by his student in class.
