The Egyptian Space Agency and a delegation from Libya’s Centre for Space Sciences and Remote Sensing have discussed ways to boost space cooperation.They met recently at the Egyptian Space City.
Recently at the Egyptian Space City,The Egyptian Space Agency disscussed elevating space cooperation with a delegation from Libya’s Centre for Space Sciences and Remote Sensing.
The meeting was led by the CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency Sherif Sedky and the Libyan delegation, including Akram Abdel-Salam Alkaseh and Mahmoud Khalifa Milad.
Sedky stressed Egypt’s dedication to forming strategic cooêration with Libya aiming to enhance space technology capabilities and promote sustainable growth in the region.
Akram Alkaseh for his part, praised Egypt’s leadership in Africa and the Middle East, particularly in satellite development and localisation. He further stressed the relevance of leveraging Egypt’s expertise to advance Libya’s capabilities.
The discussions during the meeting focused on advancing remote sensing technologies, knowledge-sharing, and joint projects which both sides expressing dedication to achieving mutual goals and strengthening ties.
The collaboration between the both parties portrays a shared vision of utilising space technology to address regional challenges and drive innovation
