Politics: Party head alternation, not a cameroonian thing

There exist approximately 33 political parties in Cameroon whose heads or founders, have deliberately refused to give way to another personality to manage the affairs of the parties. A bone of contention it has become over the years, since multipartism was introduced  in Cameroon.

Cameroon is a one party dominate state with the Cameroons people’s Democratic Movement in power. Opposition parties are allowed but,are widely considered to have no real chance of gaining power. From the UNDP of Bello Bouba Maigari,FSNC of Issa Tchiroma Bakary,MRC of Maurice Kamto, SDF of Ni John Fru Ndi just to name this few since their creation, have exhibited to sign of letting go their parties to another personality irrespective of their political failures over the years.

Nonetheless, though accusing fingers have been pointing at the leaders of the said parties for holding grip to their positions not allowing to give way for another comrade to manage the affairs of their parties, the said leaders have vehemently refused to listen to the plea of their sympathisers which political pundits have termed as an act of greed on the political will of the leaders.

Which clearly explains why the ruling party is still in control of the political spectrum of the nation all this years. Whether you like it or not, hate it or you like it and accept it or you deny it, without any meaningful change of the political ideology in terms of power alternation in the different political parties in Cameroon, there can never exist any constructive ideas that could change the political corridors, of the country.
