RWANDA/VISION 2050 / PM NGIRENTE AFFIRMS GOVT’s COMMITMENT DESPITE CHALLENGES

The Government is committed to advancing the Vision 2050 with resilience despite the challenges, accoridng to the Rwanda’s Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente.
He was speaking on Wednesday November 13 during the launch of the country’s Economic Memorandum’s Second Pathways to Sustainable and Inclusive Growth Report.

Speaking at the launch of the Rwanda Economic Memorandum’s Second Pathways to Sustainable and Inclusive Growth Report on Wednesday November 13, Rwanda’s Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente affirmed the government’s commitment to pushing through the country’s vision 2050 goals despite the challenges on the way.

He highlighted that the launch marked a significant milestone in kigali’s collaborative efforts with the world bank. « After six years and with the numerous challenges including shifts in the global, regional and domestic landscape, these analysis is both needed and welcomed. »  » the report will play an important role in guiding the implementation of our future strategies. Infact, as it was developed concretely with the national strategy for transformation too, the report primary findings have already informed it » he said

Ngirente stressed that Rwandans are eager for development and the government is committed to pushing forward towards the aspirations of vision 2050.
Refecting on the country’s achievements in areas of education, health, agriculture and infrastructure, PM Ngirente noted that accomplishments over the years are a testament to the success of development to their partnership as he emphasied that the government of Rwanda is committed to addressing both existing and emerging challenges.

The premiere praised the longstanding partnership between the world Bank and the government of Rwanda.

He noted that the government remains commitment to accountability, responsibility and results.
