Sierra Leone and Guinea Bissau have reaffirmed their coomittment to deepen bilateral relations.
This was reveled recently by Morissanda Kouyaté a special envoy who doubles as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Guineans Abroad.
President Mamadi Doumbouya of Guinea Bissau recently sent a special envoy, Morissanda Kouyaté, who doubles as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Guineans Abroad, to President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Loene and reaffirmed their commitment to deepen bilateral relations.
During the visit, Minister Morissanda Kouyaté, thanked President Bio for the warm welcome extended to the delegation and conveyed heartfelt greetings from President Doumbouya.
He reaffirmed Guinea’s government dedication to further cultivate the trelations between the two neighboring countries.
For his part, President Bio thanked the team for their visit and recalled them that Sierra Leone and Guinea are not only neighbouring countries but also the citizens are regarded as brothers and sisters.
He as well expressed his displeasure about the treatment of Sierra Leoneans in Guinea, pointing out the pivotal need for constructive engagement in addressing challenges as he reiterated his government’s commitment to bstering not only bilateral relationship but also overcoming challenges.
