Today, the world celebrates the first every heavy weight champion, Mohammed Ali. He was and American professional boxer, activist, entertainer, poet and philantropist. Cassius Marcellus who later changed his name to Mohammed Ali was nicknamed » The World’s Greatest ». He is widely recognised and celebrated as the greatest heavy weight boxer of all times. He began training as an amateur boxer at age 12, at 18, he won a gold medal in light weight division at the 1960 summer olympic and turned professional later that year. He won the world heavy weight championship from Sonny Liston in a major upset on February 25th 1964 at age 22. He got engaged in many other fightd where he emerged victorious, but he started making fewer public appearances as his health condition deteroratef. The world’s Greatest, Mohammed Ali died on June 3rd 2016.
